Ati Etesami is a distinguished Iranian artist currently based in Somerset, known for her profound ability to draw inspiration from nature, humanity, and the beauty found in diversity. Her latest conceptual installation will be exhibited in the beautiful surroundings of Bath Abbey from Monday 1st to Thursday 11th September.

Voyage of Light and Grace

Ati’s latest conceptual installation work called ‘Voyage of Light and Grace’, delves into the poignant journey of refugees who are compelled to leave their homelands out of fear for their lives.

In this evocative work, Ati presents Christ as the sole saviour for those who feel lost and weary, extending compassion and hope to all His children, irrespective of their backgrounds. While not all travellers reach a safe destination on this arduous journey, it is through God's infinite love that many wandering souls find refuge and are guided to safety. The installation powerfully illustrates the harsh realities faced by those who struggle, reminding us that while God has a unique plan for each of us, no one is truly alone on this journey.

Ati Etesami

Ati's art serves as a reflective space, encouraging viewers to engage with the resilience of the human spirit and to contemplate the essential truths of faith and support in times of struggle. This installation invites all to witness the strength and vulnerability intertwined in the refugee experience, offering a new perspective on the world around us.
