TAUNTON CENTRE MANAGER

Passionate about resettling those fleeing from war?

CHARIS welcomes refugees; gives them hope for the future, a place to call home, and a warm welcome in the local community.

Formed in 2016, CHARIS has pioneered and grown into one of the most experienced community sponsors in refugee resettlement in the UK.  We have resettled multiple refugee families across the South West and led the way in developing local services that support them on their resettlement journey.

The war in Ukraine has dramatically increased the number of people seeking sanctuary from violence and oppression.  We are now seeking to respond by creating Welcome Hubs across Somerset to provide a range of services to refugees of many nationalities.

We are excited that one of the first of these Welcome Hubs will be located in Taunton and are seeking to expand our team to allow CHARIS to establish and run this and the wider series of  Welcome Hubs across Somerset.

We are now recruiting
